Stardew Valley: Slimes Breeding Method

For many players, receiving a quest after going down the mine to kill 1000 Slimess to obtain the Slimes Ring is a terrifying task. One thousand Slimess, even if placed in front of everyone to kill, would take a long time. Moreover, while Slimess are relatively common in the mine, it does not mean they can be encountered on every floor. According to probabilities, it is basically possible to complete the quest after clearing more than 300 levels.

However, smart players will not foolishly spend time clearing the mine like this. Today, I will tell you a simple method to quickly reach 1000 Slimess – that is to build a Slimes Breeding Room!

Materials

The first thing needed to construct the building is materials. Let’s take a look at what materials are required to build a Slimes Hutch!

First, choose a day to visit the skilled carpenter, Robin, at the carpenter’s shop to see the required materials.

Okay, the gold coin cost is not expensive, only 10,000 is needed. The stone requirement is quite large, as much as 500 pieces. The refined quartz demand is not much, only ten pieces, but obtaining it is challenging. Most importantly, iridium ingots are needed! This is one of the main materials for the late game, which makes it difficult for me to bear! I have only reached level 40+ in the mine, while iridium ore needs to be unlocked at level 120 on the beach.

In addition, to obtain refined quartz, a Recycling Machine needs to be crafted to obtain it, and the materials needed for the Recycling Machine are not many.

The key is the need for iron ingots, which can be obtained by smelting iron ore in a furnace. Of course, the same applies to iridium ingots in the later stages.

Building the Slimes Hutch

After collecting all the materials, we eagerly go to find our dear Robin to start construction!

Looking at it, it feels quite rewarding, right? It’s easy to get 500 pieces of stone, but obtaining the other two materials is really heartbreaking.

Choose a location and start the construction the next day!

Slimes Breeding

On the third day of construction, our Slimes Hutch is finally built! At this time, when we go out, the old man from the Adventurer’s Guild who gave us the broken sword appears again!

He gives us a Slimes Egg, and without the egg, we would be helpless. This is really timely help!

Alright, without further ado, let’s go see our new building! The Slimes Hutch!

Actually, this is my favorite building. In Stardew Valley, most buildings are some dull yellow structures, which do not match my aesthetics. The Slimes Hutch is undoubtedly my favorite building!

Place the obtained Slimes Egg in the top left corner of the Slimes Incubator, wait patiently for two days, and you will hatch your pet Slimes!
