The incident took place in the beautiful and serene Stardew Valley. On the morning of Spring 11th in the first year, as you lazily stretched in bed like a cat, washed up, and stepped out of your home to practice the Eighth Exercise in the bathing morning sun, a gleam caught your eye. Somehow, an extra letter had appeared in your mailbox, containing three chicken feathers that fluttered in the wind outside the box under the sunlight. Opening it revealed the following content:

This is unbelievable! Robin has lost her beloved axe! Our coop, barn, and other structures are waiting for our help. We can’t ignore this as the premier landlady of Stardew Valley, even if other tasks are set aside or deleted.

Firstly, let’s carefully observe this letter. We can find a very clear breakthrough. Take a close look at this letter — Robin was chopping wood south of Marnie’s Ranch. We won’t concern ourselves with why our dear troublemaker boss lady went so far to chop wood, but the crux is not bringing the axe back after the chopping.

And so, we embarked on the arduous journey to find Robin’s axe.

Marnie’s Ranch

We quickly pinpointed Marnie’s Ranch on the map and checked the nearby forest location. We arrived here shortly after. Opening the map, let me show you the exact location.

Finding the Axe

Once the specific location was identified, finding the axe naturally followed. However, it wasn’t easy. The axe is small and hard to find. I searched this place several times across saves, eventually giving up and deleting the task in frustration. But since this file is for teaching everyone, I persisted in searching where the axe might appear.

Finally, I couldn’t escape my keen observation. Eventually, I found the axe on the edge of a mountain cliff. Robin can’t come up with an excuse to avoid work now!

Handing it to Robin

When I arrived at Robin’s doorstep, it was well past 7 PM. The shop had already closed and wasn’t accepting customers, but who am I? I’m the star of Stardew Valley! I knocked on their door and presented the axe with both hands.

This woman is quite skilled with her hands but doesn’t seem too bright otherwise. Why did she go so far to chop wood? Well, losing the axe is forgivable, but she should be careful not to cut off her own toes with a new axe.

Mission Reward

Well, being adults, let’s not worry about running errands for this woman. We have money, so let’s allow ourselves to be ourselves and check the reward!

Overall, this mission isn’t particularly difficult. There isn’t much traveling involved, and the 250g reward at the end is quite reasonable.
