Genshin Impact: Clorinde’s Weapon, Artifact, and Team Recommendations

Character Introduction

Genshin Impact: Clorinde's Weapon, Artifact, and Team Recommendations

Clorinde is a Electro-type single-handed sword character, positioned as a main DPS. She enters a strengthened state through her Elemental Skill and uses her enhanced normal attacks for output. Clorinde’s skill mechanism includes two attack forms: “Swift Pursuit” and “Piercing Night,” corresponding to ranged gunfire and thrusting sword attacks, respectively. Her Covenant of Life system allows her to convert healing into damage buffs, increasing team flexibility.

Skill Analysis
Elemental Skill
In the “Night Patrol” state, Clorinde can attack using “Swift Pursuit” and “Piercing Night,” corresponding to different Covenant of Life values.

Key Points:

Due to the special nature of this skill, let me explain it in a simple way for everyone. When this skill is activated, Clorinde has two effects: pistol and dash. When Covenant of Life is above 30%, the bullets released do not have “penetration” effects, but if it’s below 30%, each bullet has penetration effects (this can be understood as enhanced bullets). So, at this point, you need to clear Covenant of Life with the dash after every three bullets released after activating E (dash), so please pay attention to this.

Other Notes: Since Clorinde can enjoy attack speed bonuses from weapons or constellations after activating E, if you’re feeling adventurous in the open world and want to have some fun, you can try it out. After the speed increases, Clorinde can shoot approximately ≤36 shots at once, giving you a feeling of a Western gunslinger.

Elemental Burst
“Residual Light Ends” provides high Electro damage and can trigger Electro-related elemental reactions.

Innate Talents
① After triggering an Electro-related reaction, based on 20% of Clorinde’s attack, both her normal attacks and Burst damage are increased for 15 seconds, stackable up to three layers, for a maximum damage increase of up to 1800.

② When Covenant of Life decreases or increases, Clorinde’s crit rate increases by 10% for 15 seconds, stackable up to two layers, and during this time, healing effects are increased to 100%.

③ Special produce locations in the map will be displayed.

Weapon Recommendations
① Favonius Sword is the first choice, with secondary attributes providing straightforward burst damage and offering high attack and crit rate bonuses, making it the most suitable;

② Next, five-star single-handed swords like Summit Shaper and Mistsplitter Reforged are also good choices;

③ If you don’t have the above five-star weapons, you can use Blackcliff Longsword or Prototype Rancour;

④ If you don’t have any of the above, you can also use the three-star weapon Prototype Rancour as a transitional option; its damage after refinement level 5 is also very impressive.

Artifact Recommendations
① Thundersoother is the first choice, increasing damage to different degrees based on the maximum value of Covenant of Life, with damage increases of up to 54%.

② Gladiator’s Finale & Thundering Fury sets can be used temporarily.

Team Recommendations
Overcharged Team
Recommended Reason: Clorinde can be paired with characters capable of triggering Electro reactions, such as grass-type characters, to form a supercharged reaction, maximizing damage output in one round;

For example: Clorinde + Grass God + Fischl + Zhongli (if skilled, Zhongli can be replaced with Raiden for even higher damage).

Superconduct Team
Recommended Reason: Paired with fire-type characters to form a superconduct reaction, providing additional control and damage, while also delivering decent damage;

For example: Clorinde + Xiangling + Fischl + Tartaglia.

Universal Team
Recommended Reason: Regardless of whether you’re diving into the Abyss or exploring the open world, it provides decent damage output and versatility;

For example: Clorinde + Beidou + Raiden + Zhongli

Constellation Analysis
C1: Provides a small numerical boost, suitable for various team compositions

C2: Provides some interruption resistance, but the benefits are slightly reduced in supercharged teams.

C4 and C6: Provide significant damage output increases, especially C6, which significantly enhances Clorinde’s survivability and damage output.

Conclusion
Clorinde, as the newly introduced Electro main DPS in version 4.7, offers players new combat options with her unique skill mechanics and high damage output. Although she lacks AoE abilities slightly, she excels in single-target output and supercharged reaction teams. Depending on your team composition and playstyle, you can choose whether to pull for Clorinde to enhance your combat strength.
