Dragon’s Dogma 2: Experience Sharing of the Magic Archer

Magic Archer is mainly about being comfortable and relaxed. Auto-targeting + long-range output, with a few taunting retainers, can be quite comfortable. The Reviving Magic Archer, long-range pulling with the retainers, and restoring gray health. It can be said to completely outperform Mage healing.

Dragon's Dogma 2: Experience Sharing of the Magic Archer

In terms of output, although it cannot compete with Wizards when not considering sacrificial situations, it is still above average among all professions. Endless and Ice Barrage are very useful skills. The Sacrificial Magic Archer is practical, with wheelchair skills, instantly eliminating most enemies. When encountering enemies that cannot be instantly eliminated, being a bit flexible can greatly increase efficiency. For example, for the Stone Golems, start by manually using Ice Barrage Arrows to remove their shoulders, then sacrifice. As for the red pillars, you can use only about 1/4 of your health each time, combined with Dragon’s Heart or universal potions.

Overall, besides semi-automatic targeting, there is almost no need for manual operation. No need to control stamina, climb enemies, adjust positions like some melee classes, or channel spells like Mages/Wizards. Just use Endless when you want to act, and if you don’t feel like saving, keep using normal attacks. The output is higher than that of Magic Swordsman, making it the epitome of comfort.

Although the Magic Archer is strong, it still has its shortcomings. After all, game developers cannot make a class that excels in everything. Below are the disadvantages of this profession for those interested.

It’s really frustrating to fight Stone Golems as a Magic Archer, as they take minimal damage. Wizards’ Tornado and Rock skills can still deal damage to magic-resistant enemies, but the ultimate move requires sacrificing health, which is unsustainable. Originally, I also liked the Magic Archer because it looked cool.
